Baika Dolls : A Series Cute Wooden Sound Toys

Beautiful and unique set of fairy tale characters that are capable to emit different sounds when you put them on the board that come with the set. All those cute dolls are called Baika Dolls, Zuzanna Bukala, the designer, said that these series wooden sound toys were based on the Grimm Brothers and other tales characters.

“I have designed and produced the Baika Dolls as my Honours Degree Project. It is a series wooden sound toys featuring characters and elements of the fabulous world of the Grimm Brothers and other tales.

In my final year of studies I have decided to focus on the topic that interests me greatly - fairytales and storytelling. I believe this is very poetic and deep subject, that could be explored from many different angles.
I also wanted to produce something that expresses me as a designer and as a person; and in a way works as a statement of my values.
