Traven Baskets Series is the result from Christian Vivanco collaboration with Nido Muebles. This project is actually made in honor to a short story “Baskets in series” wrote by Bruno Traven. It refers to the relationship between craft and industry of contemporary consumption.

Nido Muebles is a company that develops appropriate environment for children at home, that’s why they understand when it comes to “design for children”, it has to involve careful and sensitive approach, not only in terms of safety but also everyday life of a family where children would be the main priority.

Traven is a set of furniture especially designed for children and parents, it is composed of an armchair, a stool, and a toybox. The combination of wicker, handmade wool, certified wood, and natural finishes, creates a set of products that is adaptable to any home décor. Traven is meant to enhance children play time, the different of volumes and shapes of each object propose different scenarios where children can have different experiences with each object.

Burro – This basket is the smallest yet the most dynamic among others. Its compact size is an ideal space to keep secrets or surprises.

Luna Pod – This basket features pretty generous space, enough for your toddler to have a moment of peace and quiet in there. The natural wool cushions provide comfort.

Butterfly Catcher – This basket is the most attractive piece of furniture in this series, it functions as frame or shelf for your kids’ toys where each basket is 360-degree rotatable.
