BabyArk is a child car seat designed by Frank Stephenson, a world-renowned automotive designer that has more than three decades experience in designing iconic cars such as Ferrari, Maserati, MINI, and McLaren. Well, coming from a car designer, hopefully this child car seat can provide with much better safety and state-of-the-art technology that will make sure it can set new standard and safety on the market.

As a new startup, BabyArk has an ambitious goal, it wants to revolutionize the child safety seat market through its organic and natural form. It’s been designed in a way that envelops your child, the organic shape was inspired by nature. Stephenson believes that nature has always given us a good solution to just about anything, therefore the design of BabyArk started from there.

By combining natural forms and high-tech materials, BabyArk can be developed with new manufacturing techniques, most notably a zero-waste 3D printing process. The seat core features impact-absorbing spiral tube that adds another layer of protection. Therefore, in the event of impact, the energy’s transferred to the seat can be dispelled by this tube, thus, dramatically reduce the effects of shock on its fragile cargo. At first sight, the protective shape of BabyArk looks like an egg, very organic-looking object.

BabyArk also comes with a key fob and a warning app to prevent the unthinkable yet common act of leaving a child behind in a car.
